Get Well card
Posted on 03/06/10 by LeisaAnother Copycat card challenge over at the Scrapsidaisy Gallery was to make a card using a tissue paper embellishment. I made a few but here’s one…
Sadly we had a bit of a scare with Sam resulting in 3 days in hospital but thankfully all is fine now…I couldn’t resist grabbing this pic on the day he was discharged – what a very cute sick little Calf & his Mummy
Thought I would share a photo of our little princess today too – I had cropped this photo ready to print and scrap (one day!) and I was just blown away by how much she has changed in the last year – not just the short hair – everything…boo hoo..does anyone else feel sad that their kids seem to be just growing up so fast?
Copycat Challenge and some baby goodness!
Posted on 03/03/10 by LeisaOver at the Scrapsidaisy Gallery our latest Copycat Challenge was to create a card inspired by a photo from a wonderfully creative blog A Creative Mint. Here’s mine!
I ended up sending this card with a RAK to the ever so lovely and talented Melissa Goodsell. Mel had asked on her blog if anyone knew where to get some particular Lil’ Davis Fabric Letters. Well I knew just the place so I sourced them and sent them off! If you haven’t been by Mel’s blog you definitely should – she has so much going on at her house – it really inspires me every time I visit!
Spaghetti Bolgnaise anyone? or perhaps a BIG BABY KISS!

Michelle’s Tuesday Class
Posted on 01/04/10 by LeisaHere’s a sneak peek of Michelle’s Tuesday class…isn’t it stunning? I am sure we all have some water/pool/beach/blue toned photos we could use with this one! It is a double page layout too – great value!

P.S. The Forum server seems to be having “issues” again – sorry I know we all love to check in each day…hopefully they will fix the problem soon!
Happy New Year!
Posted on 01/01/10 by LeisaWelcome to another very exciting year of crafting at Scrapsidaisy.
To start off the year with a “WOW” here’s a sneak peek of a class being taught by the very talented Michelle Grant while she is in Wingham this month.
Michelle will be teaching in store on the Monday after our 2010 Roundup (18th Jan). Bookings are essential. Why not take advantage of Michelle’s extraordinary experience and knowledge and book in to create this stunning single layout while she is in Wingham. (Numbers will be provided for any age so you don’t have to have a “16″th birthday photo to do the class.)

NEW CLASSES!
Posted on 11/21/09 by LeisaIn addition to the wonderful Christmas classes, we will be adding some non-Christmas themed ones in the next few weeks.
The first one is using Glimmer Mist and Masks to create stunning effects. I have arranged for a special shipment of the popular Heidi Swapp masks especially for the class which will be held…
NEXT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON 2:30PM TO 4:30PM and NEXT THURSDAY MORNING 10:15 AM TO 12:15PM.
Bookings available from 10am Monday – please phone the store on 65535307.

Project Idea – Mistletoe Gift Tin
Posted on 11/18/09 by LeisaWe stock a wonderful range of tins in store perfect for scrapping up with Christmas papers and embellishments. Here’s one I decorated today in just minutes. These are wonderful, inexpensive but impressive teacher’s gifts. Why not have the kids make one up and fill with some lollies or stationery supplies like erasers, pencil toppers, paper clips etc. The tin, along with other great quality BTP items can be found here.

The gorgeous patterned paper is flocked so has a beautiful texture. It can be purchased here

Why not add a special sentiment and/or your name on the bottom of the tin with wonderful matching mini alphas.

The gorgeous, detailed dimensional felt embellishments can be purchased here
